Taping
Taping is commonly used as an adjunct or temporary technique. Athletes often make use of taping as a protective mechanism in the presence of an existing injury. Some of the goals with taping are to restrict the movement of injured joints, soft tissue compression to reduce swelling.

Soft tissue mobilisation
Soft tissue mobilization works by mobilising muscles and therefore breaking up scar tissue. The mobilisations also help to remove waste products from the damaged area which increases the speed of the healing process.

Post operative rehabilitation
Rehabilitation is the post-surgical program of re-establishing joint motion, muscle strength around the joint and finally joint function. It is very important to understand that rehabilitation is a long process

TENS
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is a method of pain relief involving the use of a mild electrical current. A TENS machine is a small, battery-operated device that has leads connected to sticky pads called electrodes

IFT
Interferential Therapy (IFT) is a non-invasive physical therapy for pain relief and tissue repair. It uses low-frequency electrical currents that generate a frequency intending to prevent pain signals from being transmitted to the brain. This frequency is called an interferential current or IFC

US
Ultrasound therapy is a treatment tool used by physical and occupational therapists. Ultrasound Therapy is used for its non-thermal effect, in which high-frequency sound waves cause biological fluids to vibrate and move. Ultrasound therapy, using a probe and gel is used in a circular motion over the affected area

SWD
Shortwave diathermy (SWD) is one of the agents used in physical therapy. It generates high-frequency electromagnetic energy that has physiological and therapeutic effects on biological tissues.

Muscle stimulation
muscle stimulation (EMS) is a type of electrotherapy stimulates a muscle contraction using electrical impulses in order strengthen weak muscles, reduce swelling, relieve pain and help heal wounds.

Cupping
Cupping therapy is one of the oldest and most effective method of releasing the toxins from body tissue and organs. It is also known as vacuum cupping, hijama cupping, horn treatment etc. It is a practice in which the therapist puts special cups on the skin to create suction.

Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is the process of exposing one's self to very low temperatures in order to reduce inflammation and heal damaged tissue.

Hot pack
The application of moist heat to an injured area is often used in conjuntion with other therapies to relax tight muscles and decrease pain or muscle spasms. Hot packs increase blood circulation, which encourages healing. Physical therapists also use hot packs to relax muscles following therapeutic exercise.
